King Bee is an acoustic blues purist, playing his way through the 1920’s Mississippi Delta all the way to the 1940’s of Chicago. Murder ballads, lewd innuendos and deals with the devil, King Bee is a story teller who takes his lead from classic bluesmen such as Charley Patton, Blind Willie McTell and Robert Johnson. Oliver’s passion for the blues is showcased through his enticing physical approach to performances, which aims to captivate audiences regardless of their knowledge of the genre.
