The Aloha Brothers are a Rock and Blues duo hailing from Adelaide, South Australia. Made up of Billy Bob Rankine and Mario Marino.
William Robert Rankine, Aka Billy Bob, is a mainstay on the Adelaide music scene, and has been for decades. His long list of credentials includes playing with Sarah McLeod in Fallen Down Monsters, prior to them becoming Hell’s Kitchen and then The Superjesus; he’s toured with Adelaide rockabilly act, The Satellites; and, when he’s not with The BBQ Boys, his current gig is as a guitarist with The Streamliners.
Mario Marino is one of those rare musicians who combine technical skill with great feel, making him one of Adelaide’s most popular drummers. Mario has toured with various bands both nationally and internationally and has represented the Adelaide Roots & Blues Association (ARBA) twice at the International Blues Challenge which is held every year in Memphis Tennessee; his first time was with Lazy Eye Band and the second time with the band One More Mile.
